Benefitting Innovative Reentry Program

Purpose: This event honors Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison and other legal legends. In addition, the event seeks to raise funding and awareness for a novel reentry program.  The program is intended to offer training, intensive mentoring, and job placement in the cyber and construction fields for young adults serving their last months of incarceration.  

Students would receive over 500 hours of training and support in a hybrid (in-person and remote) format.  We hope to raise funds to cover curriculum development, grant writing, and other technical services required to launch pilot programs in Memphis, TN; Prince George’s County, Maryland, Detroit, Michigan and Minneapolis, MN then quickly expand the program nationwide.
